Commodity Portfolio Manager

James joined Roundstone Advisors in March of 2007. He is responsible for the daily monitoring and implementation of Roundstone’s commodity investment strategies. He also conducts research aimed at recognizing historical patterns, managing risk, and fostering new trade ideas.

Mr. Meehan started his career in 2003 as a credit analyst for the commercial loan portfolio of Oak Brook Bank. His responsibilities included reviewing company financial statements, determining appropriate loan covenants, analyzing collateral, and conducting loan reviews. In 2004, he moved to the Investment and Trust Department at the Bank as an equity research analyst and portfolio manager. He was the head research analyst on a proprietary enhanced S&P 500 index fund and for the Oak Brook Bank company run 401(k) plan. As portfolio manger, he managed over $150 million in pension and individual client assets.

Mr. Meehan is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and a graduate of Georgetown University with a BS in Finance (2003).
